Withdrawal and refunds
Application to withdraw from course enrolment can be made directly to Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (+64)220694877 “Enrolment” refers to the completion and submission an online form relating to any course/event offered by Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning and includes:
Baptist Leaders’ Registration
Baptist Leaders’ Registration fees are non-refundable. If withdrawal is requested due to change of circumstances, your application can be stopped, but the fee remains non-refundable.
Guided Learning , Webinars (FOCUS, Leadership and Professional Development) and all courses administered by Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning
A request to transfer from one Guided Learning option to another Guided Learning will incur no fee if requested up to 7 days ahead of advertised start date – conditional on availability. Requests made less than 7 days ahead of course start date will incur a 10% administration fee (amended on invoice if invoice remains unpaid). No transfers are possible once a Guided Learning has commenced.
A request to transfer from one Webinar to another Webinar of the same value will incur no fee if requested up to 7 days ahead of advertised start date – conditional on availability. Requests made less than 7 days ahead of course start date will incur a 10% administration fee (amended on invoice if invoice remains unpaid) . No transfers are possible once a webinar series has commenced.
Other Courses / events administered by Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning
Transfer from one course to another course of equal value, will be considered on a case by case basis. Refunds due to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.
Baptist Leaders’ Registration – Maternity Leave
Notification needs to be made to Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning of the intended start and end of maternity leave. If there is an intention to be on leave for a full registration period (November-November) then registration can simply be renewed on return to work and registration status (full or provisional) will continue from this point.
If there is an intention to be on leave for part of the registration year, the Baptist Whanau, Supervision plan and learning plan committed to (i.e. the Ministry Development Agreement or MDA) should reflect the % of the year that will be work worked .(e.g if there is a plan to return within 6mths, the MDA requirements will be 50%)
