Word to Life: Preaching Conference 10-11 September 2027
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
With its preaching Christianity stand or falls.
— P.T. Forsyth
The church’s life and witness have alwas depended on preachers who can open God’s Word in the power of the Spirit. In a rapidly changing world, the ministry of preaching is as important as ever.
Word to Life will bring together pastors, volunteer preachers, emerging leaders and young adults from across Aotearoa to renew our confidence in God’s Word, strengthen our ability to proclaim it faithfully, and inspire a new generation with a passion for preaching.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This conference, a partnership between Carey, BYM and TSCF, will explore why preaching is so important, and how to do it well in our context. It will be a rich festival of sermons, presentations, interviews and interactive workshops, with a special focus on equipping emerging preachers.
Further programme details, including speakers and sessions, will be announced as they are confirmed.
