This annual one-day orientation is for anyone in leadership roles within Baptist churches or connected organisations in New Zealand, who desire an introduction to ‘being’ Baptist in Aotearoa New Zealand. The programme for the day includes engagement with Baptist distinctives and how being Baptist in Aotearoa New Zealand is different to other parts of the world. There will be opportunities to meet people in national and regional ministry roles, hearing what they do and how they serve leaders and local churches. An added benefit is meeting leaders from other Baptist churches, potentially initiating ongoing relational support within our collective.
This one-day orientation is a compulsory component of Provisional Baptist Registration – the two-year period from first registering. This one-day orientation can be done in either of the two years of Provisional Registration.
