| Bio | II have been a health Social Worker for 15 years, and a supervisor for 10. Supervision to me, is about the relationship curated between people. It’s a relationship that underpins the weaving of shared experiences, reciprocal learning, critical reflection, ethical decision making and celebration of strengths. A well-functioning supervision relationship supports the development of practitioners so that they may engage in quality reflective practice for the individuals, whānau and hāpori they serve. I take reference points from Āta, a notion that creates a space of observation, thinking, acknowledging and asks both supervisee and supervisor to consider their own humanity. |
