| Bio | In this phase of my life, I work as a writer, educator, counsellor, spiritual director, and supervisor out of my private praxis in Te Atatu Peninsula. I am married to Phil Halstead who lectures at Carey Baptist College in the area of Pastoral Care and Inner Healing and we have one adult daughter. Originally from the Black Forest/Germany I immigrated to New Zealand in my late twenties. My spiritual journey has integrated seasons in evangelical, charismatic and contemplative circles and included a time at Bible College and missionary work. In my spare time I love to read, jog, swim, travel, or engage in deep conversations. I’ve been actively involved in various churches leading homegroup, children’s ministry, inner healing groups, creative ministries, and discipleship training as well as preaching. My passion is to resource and equip leaders for their ministry and also help them gain more understanding of themselves (“viderim me, viderim te – to know myself is to know you” Augustine) |
