This is a recording of a Carey Conversation where a panel spent 90 minutes discussing issues around immigration, nationalism, and in particular refugee settlement and assimilation. There were Q&A from the audience. The host was Ruby Duncan (Baptist Neighbourhood and Justice Initiatives), with panelists: Dr Helen Saunders (Mangere Refugee Centre), Karen Read (Immigration NZ), and Dr Derek Woodard-Lehman (Otago University, Public Theology). The conversation occurred at Carey Theological College (Auckland, NZ) on Thursday 2 March 2017, 7pm.

This is a recording of a conversation with Dave Andrews about his 2015 book: The jihad of Jesus; the sacred nonviolent struggle for justice. Andrews is an Australian Christian author, speaker, social activist, community worker, and a key figure in the Waiters' Union, an inner city Christian community network working with Aboriginals, refugees and people with disabilities in Brisbane. Joining in on the conversation are Rosemary Dewerse (Mission Educator: The College of St John the Evangelist) and Frank Ritchie (Wesleyan Methodist Minister, Tear Fund NZ: Education & Justice Advocate).
