Christian Savings bio
Formed in 1962, Christian Savings was originally set up as Baptist Savings. From the early days, they have existed to help fund the growth and development of the Kingdom of God in New Zealand. In recent years they have changed their rules to widen their reach and allow other Christian denominations and para-church entities to benefit from their services.
From their very first loan in 1962 of helping churches acquire pews for their congregation, to currently having over $100 million in lending, the journey of Christian Savings has been enthralling and looks certain to stay that way in years to come.
Christian Savings are New Zealand’s only licenced charitable non-bank deposit taker.
