Alan Vink bio
I started my working life as a Secondary School Teacher. Then in 1983 somewhat unexpectantly, I went into Baptist Ministry and served in three Baptist Churches until 2006. As a bi-vocational pastor I served on the Boards of a wide range of Christian organisations including the NZ Open Home Foundation and World Outreach International. During this time Jeanette and I also had a small business interest or two.
In 2007 I changed tack and went into Bible College Teaching and Management Consulting work for a range of organisations including local churches.
2010 – 2017 Executive Director for Willow Creek Association in NZ.
2018 I started my own Ministry Organisation called LeadershipWorx. Our Mission is:-
“We are an organisation based in New Zealand to provide education and training for leaders wherever you might be leading but with a special focus for pastors of local churches.
Few would disagree with the notion that as leaders and managers lifelong learning is part of our job description. Initial diplomas and degrees are very important but the world is changing at break neck speed and with it come challenges and issues that need to be unpacked and explored as we endeavour to be the very best thought leaders we can possibly be.
This is what we are attempting to do in and through LeadershipWorx. We are an organisation dedicated to professional development. Whether you are a beginning leader, a mid level leader or a senior executive we are to serve you by providing relevant educational and leadership development content”.
Currently I also have an elected position with the Waikato District Council as a Community Board Member in Raglan where I live and the owner of two small companies.
This year our Guided Learning options have a new home!
Guided Learning 2019 options are active from 11 Feb to 11 Oct, and take 1-2 hrs per week to complete.
